We want our pupils to live happy and healthy lives. We are committed to promoting the well-being of every girl. Driven by our Quaker Ethos, we place an emphasis on respecting and valuing every individual.
Our all-girl environment creates a truly supportive community. You will make amazing friends – the kind who are caring, fun supportive and there for you. The sense of teamwork and mutual respect is fostered through regular events that help everyone bond and build strong friendships. For example, our Sixth Form just organised a Charity ball Christmas ball and invited other local schools.
You will have your own Personal Tutor, who will be your go-to person. You’ll meet with them regularly to help you build skills to handle whatever comes your way. to help you develop the skills needed to face and overcome any future challenges. We also have a PSHE program that keeps going in Sixth Form, in which we encourage discussion about important topics including positive mental health and relationships. This is also supplemented with guest speakers as part of the College Specials Programme. And if you ever need extra support, we have a School Nurse and a Counsellor available too.
In recognition of your independence girls in Sixth Form are given their own space in the dedicated Sixth Form Centre. Here you have your own comfortable Common Room where you can socialise and relax together. Plus Sixth Form students do not wear uniform, you can choose your own clothing (within the ‘Work Smart’ dress code, which lets you show off your individuality whilst recognising the importance of setting an example to the younger girls in the School community.
