MSA Christmas Fayre 2022
Christmas preparations are well underway here at The Mount School and a team of ever-so-helpful MSA elves have been busily working around the clock to organise a wonderful Christmas Fayre to kick off the 2022 festive season.
Complete with guest of honour, the big man Father Christmas himself, this year’s MSA Christmas Fayre promises to be one of the best yet. The Mount School will open its doors to a range of local small business owners who will offer unique products and services for everyone to enjoy.
With prizes to be won and delicious refreshments to be savoured, the Christmas Fayre will feature delectable stone baked pizza by famed York caterer, The Bistro Guy, and a stall run by our MSA volunteers offering teas/ coffees and other festive fancies.
You will be treated to a trio of Yorkshire-based authors, each offering signed editions of their debut books, the perfect gift for any book lovers you may be shopping for this year. In total there are over 30 external crafters, creatives, foodies, and artists all in attendance allowing you to browse leisurely without the hustle and bustle of the high street city centre, all the while helping to raise money for a worthy cause. 20% of all profits made are being donated to St Leonard’s Hospice.
Each year the MSA Christmas Fayre relies on festive spirit and the kind generosity of parents, family members and friends who volunteer their time to help. Without your support, the event could not continue to be a success. Year group representatives will be in touch shortly with information for parents to volunteer for a range of different roles on the day – for as little or as long as possible.
In the meantime, there are several ways in which everyone can help support this wonderful event. The MSA are asking for donations of any unwanted, pre-loved or unused books/toys and non-perishable baked goods to be used in the prize draw. These items are welcome from now and can be left at the main school reception for safekeeping until the event on the 3rd of December.

If you have any unwanted, or unused books, toys and tombola prizes of chocolates and biscuits or other goodies that you would like to kindly donate please do let us know.
All donations are greatly appreciated and can be left by the School Main Reception for collection.
