Mount Music Scholars’ Concert

The families and friends of our Mount Music Scholars’ gathered yesterday for an evening of entertainment as they enjoyed twighlight performances from our talented musicians and vocalists.

Toasting the evening, guests were served canapes and attended a drinks reception in the Music Department Hall before the performers graced the stage.

This was the first formal performance for many of our Mount Scholars this academic term, however, their polished and perfected staging ensured that the night was delivered perfectly.

Opening the show, College pupil Vanessa, delighted audiences with a performance on the recorder, followed later by a demonstration of her exquisite vocal abilities along with Georgiana as they performed a beautiful rendition of ‘You Raise Me up’ composed by R.Lovland.

The Mount School is honoured to host many talented vocalists across the breadth of the school year groups, voice performances last night included Siân (Year 11), Katie (Year 9), Performing Arts Scholar, Isabelle (Year 7) and Georgiana (College II).
