Renowned British Artist, Ian Murphy Summer School Dates Released

Renowned British Artist, Ian Murphy has released the dates for the return of his much anticipated Art Summer School.

Week 1: Monday 24 July 2023 – Friday 28 July 2023
Week 2: Monday 31st July 2023 – Friday 4 August 2023

For two weeks in July/August, Ian will once again return to The Mount School to deliver a series of contemporary workshops and tutorials. He will give insight into the creative processes he follows and where he draws inspiration from.

He is inviting all art enthusiasts, aged 13-18 years, to attend the Summer School held within the purpose-built Art and Design suites at The Mount. Welcoming creatives from the local community as well as existing pupils of the school, the Art Summer School encourages collaboration and allows attendees to share their thoughts and ideas with other like-minded and passionately creative individuals.

Focus of the week will be on providing support and guidance to those looking to produce a strong portfolio of work to accompany GCSE and A level study – ideal for anyone who wishes to stand out from the crowd during the application process.

The cost of this unique opportunity to work directly with a world-renowned, established artist is £475 per week. With the option to study, one or both weeks, whereby you can further develop your pieces and explore different techniques on a deeper level.
