Life at The Mount is a never-ending hive of activity, growth and development.
This page will help you keep up to date with the latest facilities and developments happening at the School.
The Mount School's ethos and curriculum promote the Quaker values of simplicity, truth, equality, peace and social justice.
We believe that every child is unique and that the purpose of education is to unlock the potential within.
We are asking our wider school community to donate to our 'Access To Opportunity' programme to enable us to achieve our aims and open the door to an outstanding education for future generations of Mount girls.
The Mount provides an deducation that challenges and broadens the horizons and outlook of all, fostering confidence and independent thinking. Mount Girls have access to facilities that reflect our position as one of the leading independent girls' schools in the country. We are committed to the future development of our historic, tranquil 16-acre site, enabling us to continue to offer outstanding accommodation and modern, up-to-date resources across all aspects of life at The Mount.
Recent development projects include: modernising the Horse Boxes, the individual study spaces for girls studying for their GCSEs; new Junior School play area; wildlife garden and Enchanted Garden for the Junior School; refurbishments in boarding; and a new Junior School library.
On-going plans for continued capital development include: a new Performing Arts Auditorium; an all-weather pitch; expansion of boarding facilities; a Life Science Room in the Junior School.
