Expeditions and trips give students the chance to put learning into action, and experience first hand many of the concepts they have covered in classroom theory. Throughout the School departments, there are many expeditions and trips for the girls to enjoy. Below is a small sample of these.

S9 (Year 9) German - Exchange programme with a school in Rheinbach, Germany
S8 (Year 8) History - Wilberforce House, Hull, to learn about slavery
S7 (Year 7) History - Investigating York, or 'IY' as it is fondly known, to learn more about the city's fascinating and richly woven past

There are also many international trips, which take in France, Namibia, Iceland, Wales, Italy, Russia, Battlefields and places further afield.
As well as enjoying the international community here at The Mount, girls very much enjoy the opportunities for international travel. It all contributes to providing a well-rounded and balanced education.
