About Patricia Veale School of Dance
The Patricia Veale School of Dance is one of the most established dance schools in York. They have an excellent reputation of producing highly trained dancers in classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap and modern dance. The School offers Dance classes for all ages from pre school, children, teenagers and adults in RAD classical ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance.
The Patricia Veale School of Dance was founded by Patricia Veale in the 1960’s at the Acomb Church Hall on Front Street in York. It subsequently moved to 6 – 8, Regent Buildings in Acomb, York. Kelly Clarey, formally known as Mickela Clarey, daughter of the late Patricia Veale is now the owner and principal teacher at the dance school and continues to maintain the well-known reputation of her mother. Kelly is a former professional dancer and tutor for the Royal Academy of Dance.
